Well it's almost school time again for the kiddies (2 weeks left). Just thought I'd check online for my kids school ratings. My oldest will be starting at Grove Upper Elementary in Grade 4, and my youngest is at Grove Lower Elementary in Grade 1. So here it is:
According to GreatSchools.net, Grove District Schools got a rating of 7 out of 10 based on it's schools test results (1 is lowest and 10 is highest). They compare the school's standardized test results with the rest of the state. Oklahoma State's average score was 78% in Reading and 75% in Math.
According to the Oklahoma State Education website, Grove District Schools got an Academic Performance Index (API) score of 1316. API measures school and district performance based on school achievement tests. Scores range from 0 - 1500 with 1252 as the state average.
Grove Lower Elementary School got 92% in Reading and 88% in Math. The school rating was 10 out of 10 (highest). Grades PK - 3 with 766 students. This school's API is 1375.
Grove Upper Elementary School got 82% in Reading and 81% in Math. The school rating was 10 out of 10 (highest). Grades 4-5 with 336 students. This school's API is 1406.
Grove Middle School got 79% in Reading and 74% in Math. The school rating was 5 out of 10 (average). Grades 6 - 8 with 534 students. This school's API is 1191.
Grove High School got 70% in Reading and 68% in Math. The school rating was 3 out of 10 (low). Grades 9 - 12 with 673 students. This school's API is 1139.
